I am an experienced Person-
Centred Counsellor with several year’s experience within
mental health organisations and the NHS. I offer a confidential non-
service in a warm, safe comfortable environment.
I aim to help you explore the issues which are affecting your everyday life. Sometimes
life can become overwhelming and we can feel stuck and in a rut. We can feel down
or depressed, or anxious and have difficulty trying to function. We can become tearful
or feel angry and confused, or not sure which way to turn.
Counselling offers you the opportunity to talk about the issues that are affecting
your everyday life, and gives you the time and space to explore your options and
inner resources to help you to make positive changes in your life.
Boundaries and confidentiality are discussed in the initial assessment. A requirement
of the professional body with which I hold a membership with will be discussed (BACP).
As part of my professional development I attend monthly supervision to ensure my
practice continually meets The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy’s
ethical requirements and assures the well being of my clients. Part of this requirement
is that I hold an up to date Professional Indemnity Insurance Certificate.
